What charity would you like to see us support?

Every Friday at Grant Property we dress down for charity. We spend Monday to Thursday dressed in our formal work wear, so by the time Friday comes we look forward to coming to work in a more casual attire. We also like to make a little bit of a fuss of the day as we always donate £1 each to a chosen charity.

This has been a regular occurrence for some time now but only recently have we decided to mix things up a little by wearing the colour of the chosen charity. Last week we all dressed down in our casual clothes and we all made the effort to wear yellow to help show a little bit more support for that week's charity, The Irish Cancer Society.

The photo below is of some of us wearing yellow last week for The Irish Cancer Society.

Each week we choose a different charity to support, however, we thought it would be a good idea to ask you guys who you would like to see us support for Dress Down Day Friday and in turn what colour you would like us to wear to show our added support.

Which charity would you like us to support in our Dress Down Day Fridays?

Let us know the name of you suggested charity and the colour that you think we should wear by:

COMPETITION: Win £20 of Papa Joe's Vouchers

Construction of the Forth Replacement Crossing, as it is currently known, began in 2011 and is due to be completed in 2016.

The responsibility to vote for the name of the new Forth crossing has been given to the public. The Government plans to appoint a panel of independent advisors to undertake a consultation on potential names. They will consider all possible suggestions before producing a shortlist of the most appropriate that can be put to a public vote.

We can only wonder what the public will vote the name to be! If it was up to you, what name would you give the new crossing?

Competition!
We are giving away £20 vouchers to Papa Joe's restaurant for the best suggestion of what the name of the new Forth Crossing should be. Simply go to our Facebook page and leave a comment on our page and we will pick the winner on the 30th March 2012.

For more info on the naming of the crossing click here to view a recent BBC article.
