Our guide to what's on this weekend, other than catching Pokémon!

It’s getting hot in here…hopefully! There’s a chance of sunshine this weekend which is exciting, we’re all for a little bit more Scottish summer. If you aren’t heading overseas there’s still plenty happening.

It’s not a sandcastle, a surfer or an ice cream cone but it is good clean fun. You might not expect to find the circus at the beach, but this weekend Russia’s finest in the form of Moscow State Circus are at the beach. Tickets cost £10 - £36.

Dundee golf fans need not despair, the golf isn’t over just because the celebs have packed up and left Troon with the silverware. It’s the senior open Championship at Carnoustie this weekend.

If you’re in Stirling there’s a chance to be philanthropic by raising money for Ochil Mountain Rescue. Where you ask? It’s the Charity Art Exhibition from 9-5pm at the Gordon R McFarlane Art Gallery this weekend in Alloa.

Get fit in Glasgow! Get your dance on, Dance with Attitude classes give you the chance to try out every kind of dance from £4.25 for bundles of classes. You’ll be Louie Spence in no time.

It’s dancing shoes time in Nottingham too. Charity music festival Deerstock is in Newton and tickets are still available. Local bands get to come together for the weekend from 12pm – 1am and camping is available too.

There’s an arty vibe in Edinburgh too. It’s the Bohemia Art Craft Design Fair on Saturday from 10.30om – 4.30pm. Indulge with some retail therapy at Greyfriars Kirk where you’ll find hand crafted goodies from some of Scotland’s greatest crafters.
