Our guide to where to move your dancing feet this weekend

This summer’s evening in Aberdeen house and R’n’B are the sounds of Friday night. At Institute in Aberdeen DJ DAMo Aye and DH Homealone will keep the party going until 3am.

If you’re down the coast there’s a chance to see one of Scotland’s hottest shows right now! Dundee National Theatre Scotland’s much acclaimed Our Ladies of Perpetual Succour is at the Dundee Rep from 7.30 pm £16 - £18.

There’s a whole lot more culture on show at the Pathfoot Building in Stirling. Jon Schueler’s Sea to Sky is on show to mark 100 years since the artist’s birth. He’s an expressionist who painted in a studio on Scotland’s own Mallaig for five years. He was inspired by the Scottish coastline and it’s pretty funky, abstract stuff.

Comic Con is back! It’s the Glasgow Comic Con at the Royal Concert Hall, indulge in the most fanciful dress up and find other comic geeks this weekend.

With sleight of hand, optical illusion goodness and a whole load more of never tell secrets the Edinburgh International Magic Festival is coming to Edinburgh. There are workshops and performances from this Friday until next across the city.

Belle of Ibiza, Aussie Late Nite Tuff Guy headlines with a 4 hour set at La Belle Angele in Edinburgh from 11pm on Saturday night right through to 3am. Tickets are just a tenner and the night’s set to be huge! Hot Chip’s very own Felix is at Sneaky Pete’s in Edinburgh on Friday to, tickets £5.

Don’t miss MUZAK at Volt Club this weekend in Notts. Get down to big grooves until 3am. Early bird tickets are only £4 but they’re still just £6 on the night.
