Schools are out for
Summer so if you're not knee deep in mud at Strathallan Castle or under a golf brolly at The Open head
to the beach, buy ice cream and play in the sand.
There are some great,
historic community events happening all over Scotland this weekend as well as some great art.
If you're in Dundee
head along to the Gala
there's beach games in front of the bathing shelter on Friday night
and activities all day on Saturday too.
Soak up some art at
Peacock Visual Arts – they have large scale illustrations for
Hell Yeah and work from London gallery and design studio Jealous.
Going to find yourself
in the capital this weekend? Have your mind blown at the Scottish
National Gallery of Modern Art Two where MC Eschers mind boggling
pieces are on show. Just up the road tickets to the Scottish
Real Ale Festival are just £6 – you might fancy a drink after
that.
Don your kilt and head
to Stirling to toss a caber and get a taste of Highland Games – for
more than 150 years the Alva Games have been an annual event with fun
events for everybody. Whether you're watching or partaking.
Get discounted rates at
the RollerStop
Roller Disco – a great way to keep fit and something different
to do with your friends when the weather's not good enough to be
outside.
