Across the UK, you are recovering from Freshers weeks
and getting into the official start of semester. While things are
starting to settle down, there is still plenty to do!
After a long, hard first week of classes, there is lots going on in UK
cities this weekend. First up, nobody puts Aberdeen in the corner, as
it welcomes Dirty Dancing to the Aberdeen Music Hall this Friday, for a four week run! This is sure to be an evening of entertainment and a fun
alternative to the regular student nights!
For those of you in
Dundee looking for something other than another night out, it's annual
Tour de Tay takes place on Saturday. Grab your friends and take part in
the 25 or 50 mile cycle challenge to raise money for scholarships and
bursaries - just make sure you’re not out the night before!
We
realise that some of you will still be in Freshers mode and there’s
still plenty of student nights taking place across the UK. DJ Rankin is
live at The Tunnel in Glasgow this Friday for Eat Sleep Rave Repeat
while City Nightclub in Falkirk plays host to DJ SASH! on Saturday night
for their Club Paradiso summer closing party.
Over in the capital,
The Three Sisters Bar has been transformed into the Official Rugby World
Cup Fanzone. Head down there on Saturday and throughout the tournament for the best place to enjoy the World Cup matches. The bar’s courtyard
will host special guests, live performances, games and food and drink
stalls for the ultimate Rugby World Cup experience.
Last
but not least, it’s all happening this Friday in Nottingham as Duke Dumont presents Blasé Boys Club at Ink from 10pm ’til 4am.
