The weekend holds
promise – August is one of our favourite months and we've been
promised some Summer sun too.
Across our wonderful
country Scotland has some great entertainment to offer – there's
art, pop up foodie heaven, dancing and live music – all before you
even look at the packed schedule on offer at the Edinburgh festival!
If you're in Aberdeen get cultured with a wee visit to Radoslaw
Liwen's new exhibition at Newave
Gallery – this Polish artist has roots in Graffiti and street
art – get some!
Grab
a mate, parent or neighbour with a car if you're in Dundee and road
trip out to Strathtyrum for the Balgove Larder pop up Steak Barn.
You're guaranteed one pop up deli to remember! If you're driving back
at night keep an eye out for the Perseid meteor shower and tweet
using #ddskywatch every time you see a shooting star!
Edinburgh Festival – what more can we say! In the capital you're in for a
treat – get involved in the festival, DON'T be a grumpy local! If
you haven’t already round up the stragglers and organise a trip to
Late N’ Live at the Gilded Balloon.
In
Stirling this weekend – get along to Macroberts Arts Centre and be
inspired by local dancers at Stageworx Summer Showfest 2015 at 1pm.
For a perfect afternoon follow up with a Stirling favourite –
afternoon tea at the Bluebell
Tea Rooms!
Tonight
in Glasgow it's the second night of the Magners Summer Festival at
Kelvingrove Bandstand 8pm – 10.45pm. It's King Creosote tonight.
Tickets vary from night to night and as you're in the heart of the
West end you're surrounded by the bars of Finnieston and Byres Road
when it's all over. Perfect!
