What's on this Halloween

Scotland’s full of ghost stories and spooky haunted castles and creaky old houses. It’s great for scaring your friends but Halloween weekend’s set to be great fun too! Whatever you’re dressing up as this Halloween there are chilling parties everywhere – get out there, and get scaring.

It’s the sixth year of the legendary Halloween party Let itBleed at The Forum in Aberdeen. With plenty of practise these guys know how to throw a Halloween shindig, and it’s open til 4am. For a less themed evening head to Aberdeen Music Hall for Catfish and the Bottlemen – or both.

In Dundee Fat Sams is looking after Halloween – get your fancy dress on and dance the night away.

At Fubar all week it’s Carnevil time – on Friday night get creative with your fancy dress for the chance to win prizes, on Saturday Cirque du Carnevil comes to town with DJ Jonny Ruiz and on Sunday there’s a chance to play some creepy and twisted carnival games to round off the week.

On the west coast it’s Trancelate Halloween with Menno De Jong on Saturday night at 69 Below in Glasgow.

Get involved in the Zombie Walk if you’re out in Edinburgh – a huge fancy dress pub crawl. The best zombie get up will win a prize and you’ll visit 10 bars with VIP entry.

In Nottingham Rock City is open til dawn on Sunday for its Halloween all-nighter Welcome to the Asylum. Get the most out of your costume and stick it out to the end.
