Grant Property - What's On Weekend

It’s finally the weekend and whether you’re looking for a night out or something more relaxing, there’s lots going on across the UK over the next few days!

The Dundee Jazz Festival kicked off yesterday and is now in full swing. With various venues playing host to the festival, until the 25th of November, this is one not to miss if you’re looking for some laid-back entertainment.

Something, which is perhaps not so relaxed but equally enjoyable, is Armada Night, presented by Colours & Zoom at SWG3 in Glasgow. If trance is your thing, this is definitely the event for you!

Over in the capital, the Edinburgh Christmas Market is opening up today, in preparation for six weeks of Christmas festivities! Experience Edinburgh city centre’s winter wonderland, featuring fairground attractions and traditional German food stalls. This is the perfect outing for those looking for a relaxed weekend.

Nottingham Christmas Festival also opens today featuring an impressive ice rink, gift markets, mulled wine and ale bars and of course, their Grand Christmas Tree, so it’s the perfect time to start early Christmas celebrations.

That’s not all that’s going on however, as Nottingham welcomes The Vaccines, who will take the stage at the Capital VM Arena this evening.

Also taking place this evening is a gin tasting event with Gin Club Scotland, at The Inn at Kippen, Stirling. Become a connoisseur, tasting both big and small brands and discover the perfect flavour for your palate.

On Sunday, Glasgow alternative electronic band, Chvrches will entertain the crowds of the Granite City, as they take the stage at the Aberdeen Music Hall.

With Christmas festivities kicking off across the UK and a host of great music acts and events, there’s sure to be something for everyone to enjoy this weekend.
