Don’t let #StormGertrude keep you in this weekend there’s plenty happening outside!

In the North East the wonderful Rich Hall is taking to the stage in Banchory on Sunday night at the Woodend Barn Arts Centre – be prepared for laugh out loud comedy from the star of the beebs Continental Drifters and The Dirty South.

There are more giggles to be had in Dundee tonight, it’s Just Laugh at the Dundee Rep Theatre from 8pm.

At the Edinburgh Playhouse it’s quality old school, they don’t make comedy like this anymore – it’s 25 Years of Reeves and Mortimer at 7.30 pm on Sunday.

In Glasgow Ross County play Celtic Hampden on Saturday and Celtic Connections continues. Our pick is Admiral Fallow at the gorgeously atmospheric Old Fruitmarket, Saturday night at 7:30 pm.

Down south Black Stone Cherry play the Capital FM Arena tonight at 7pm as part of the Carnival of Madness Tour.
