Grant Property - What's on Weekend

This weekend August starts and it’s been a pretty grey Summer but August has so much to offer in Scotland - here's our guide to what's on.

It’s been a while (almost 24 years) but all the way from their hometown of San Francisco Modred will be taking the stage at Downstairs in Aberdeen as part of their UK tour. Rock out to Everyday’s A Holiday with this thrash metal band who were making music before Rage Against The Machine.

In Dundee tonight from 9pm the UK Ramones are playing Beat Generator Live! and it’s bound to be a crowd please.

In Glasgow this weekend be blown away by Glasgow School of Art graduates Phoenix Exhibition.

In Edinburgh it’s all going on with the Edinburgh Fringe Festival - take a walk down the Royal Mile and be swayed by free tickets - the start of the festival is the time to indulge and make a day of it.

In Stirling August is starting beautifully with Project Y, a collection of four new and exciting contemporary dance works featuring exceptional young dancers and it’s just £5.50 for students too!
